Legend Of A Mind (Jeremy Bentham's Dead)

The following song is about John Locke being very much alive on the island in the The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham episode. It is parody of the very strange "Legend Of A Mind" song from The Moody Blues, which had the hook, "Timothy Leary's dead", even though that real life person was very much alive at the time. (RIP)

Jeremy Bentham's dead.
No, no, no, no, He's alive and looking fit.
Jeremy Bentham's dead.
No, no, no, no, He's alive and looking fit.
He'll fly by Ajira plane,
Takes the trip in the cargo bay,
Eating mangos the same day,
Jeremy Bentham. Jeremy Bentham.

Jeremy Bentham's dead.
No, no, no, no, He's alive and looking fit.
Jeremy Bentham's dead.
No, no, no, no, He's alive and looking fit.
He'll fly by Ajira plane,
Takes the trip in the cargo bay,
Eating mangos the same day,
Jeremy Bentham. Jeremy Bentham.

Along the coast you'll hear him boast
About a memory that shines so clear.
So raise your coconut, we'll drink a toast
To the middling man who says he's already been here.

He brought it up how it went down
He's planting his feet on familiar ground.
He had said goodbye, He's saying hello
He was here exactly for 100 days or so.
Jeremy Bentham. Jeremy Bentham.

He brought it up how it went down
He's planting his feet on familiar ground.
He had said goodbye, He's saying hello
Jeremy Bentham.

He'll fly by Ajira plane.
Takes the trip in the cargo bay,
Eating mangos the same day,
Jeremy Bentham. Jeremy Bentham.
Jeremy Bentham. Jeremy Bentham.
Jeremy Bentham.
